Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Ezinihitte, Imo State. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
