Last-mile delivery rider — Ogle County

Now hiring: we are hiring a last-mile delivery rider in Ogle County, Illinois. You will be based at a restaurant running its own delivery. Day-to-day duties: • Update the delivery status (picked up, on the way, delivered) on the app in real time • Plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation • Call or message customers to confirm the address and drop-off point • Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end • Check tyre pressure, brakes, chain tension and engine oil before riding out • Sort failed deliveries and arrange a re-attempt or return to the hub Requirements: • Ability to ride safely in heavy traffic and in monsoon rain • Willing to work shifts, weekends and peak meal times • Clean riding record with no major traffic violations Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
