Steam press operator • Kane County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Kane County, Illinois. You will be based at a garment factory. Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Day to day you will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; give each garment a final press before packing. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
