Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Ikwuano, Abia State. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets The role involves: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
