Now hiring: we are hiring a core maker in Asa, Kwara State. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges.
