Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Omala, Kogi State. On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
