Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Gaya

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Gaya, Kano State. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. On a typical shift you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits ₦450,000 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
