Urgent requirement: plant operator (dozer) (Illinois)

Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Jefferson County, Illinois. The job is on a dam or embankment job. On the job you will handle: • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving Requirements: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections Part-time with flexible hours.
