Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory The role involves: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
