Foundry operative wanted in Obowo

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry operative in Obowo, Imo State. You will be based on the moulding line. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Day-to-day duties: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
