Escalator technician — Unuimo

Vacancy available: we are hiring an escalator technician in Unuimo, Imo State. You will work on a lift modernisation project. On a typical shift you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Part-time with flexible hours.
