Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Haskell County, Oklahoma. You will work at a cake shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving The role involves: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them Part-time with flexible hours.
