Fettler — Ikom

Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Ikom, Cross River State. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts The role involves inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦255,000 per month, based on your experience.
