Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pressman in Bayo, Borno State. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On the job you will handle: • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number Full-time with occasional weekends.
