Machine operator (earthworks) • Whiteside County, Illinois

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Whiteside County, Illinois. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Requirements: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Your main tasks: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs Part-time with flexible hours. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
