Gardener wanted in Allamakee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gardener in Allamakee County, Iowa. The job is on the grounds of a hotel resort. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Day to day you will water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
