Canteen cook wanted in Washington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Washington County, Rhode Island. You will be based at a roadside dhaba. Day-to-day duties: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Prepare the mise en place before each service What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
