Urgent requirement: milling machinist (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machinist in Hale County, Texas. You will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. You should have: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
