Now hiring: estate gardener (Ladakh)

Join our team: we are hiring an estate gardener in Kargil, Ladakh. You will work in a botanical garden. Day to day you will water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn. We are looking for happy to work outdoors in all weather; an eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided.
