Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Hall County, Georgia. You will be based in a busy laundry. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Your main tasks: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
