We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Bannock County, Idaho. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
