Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Zing, Taraba State. On a typical shift you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Full-time with occasional weekends.
