CNC mill setter-operator wanted in Adams County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Adams County, Washington. You will work at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery The role involves: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
