Great opportunity: we are hiring a dozer operator in Riverside County, California. The job is at a land-clearing site. The role involves: • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Rotating shifts.
