Plant operator (dozer) — Reading

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Reading, England. The job is on a dam or embankment job. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Your main tasks: • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving 5+ years on the tools preferred.
