Lathe programmer-operator — Crook County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Crook County, Oregon. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Full-time, day shift.
