Port container crane operator — Aguata

We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Aguata, Anambra State. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
