Wood machinist wanted in Ishielu

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wood machinist in Ishielu, Ebonyi State. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists 1+ years on the tools preferred.
