Finishing plasterer wanted in Kankakee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Kankakee County, Illinois. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. The role involves: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster You should have: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
