Immediate opening: we are hiring a counter butcher in Pakyong, Sikkim. You will work in a supermarket meat department. You will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry ₹31,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
