Nursery worker — Dakota County

Now hiring: we are hiring a nursery worker in Dakota County, Minnesota. You will be based on a golf course. Day to day you will spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters. Requirements: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers 3+ years on the tools preferred.
