You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control 3+ years on the tools preferred.
