Tower crane operator — Putnam County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Putnam County, Illinois. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. The role involves keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
