Vacancy available: tower crane operator (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Fayette County, Kentucky. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
