Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press setter operator in Mobile County, Alabama. You will work at an auto components factory. On the job you will handle: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
