Plasterer wanted in Whatcom County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plasterer in Whatcom County, Washington. On a typical shift you will float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
