Lathe operator — Bath County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe operator in Bath County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine Ideal candidate: • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety Full-time, day shift.
