Crane operator — Sherburne County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane operator in Sherburne County, Minnesota. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
