Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator in Scott County, Iowa. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. Ideal candidate: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Your main tasks: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger Full-time, day shift.
