Foundry labourer — Ajingi

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Ajingi, Kano State. The job is in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer ₦95,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
