Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Barpeta, Assam. The job is on a road construction project. Ideally you have valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence; proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class). The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes Six days a week, one day off.
