Now hiring: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Warren County, Illinois. The job is on a housing development site. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances On a typical shift you will inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly.
