Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Devon, England. The job is in a refrigerated transport fleet. On a typical shift you will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars. Requirements: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around £15 per hour, based on your experience.
