Brick and block layer — Karbi Anglong

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Karbi Anglong, Assam. You will work at a renovation and extension job. On a typical shift you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. We are looking for CSCS card or willingness to obtain one; able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. PF/ESI and paid leave as per norms. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
