Short order cook — Kent County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a short order cook in Kent County, Texas. You will work in a catering banquet kitchen. Your main tasks: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Ideal candidate: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards 1+ years on the tools preferred.
