Now hiring: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Hawul, Borno State. Day to day you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Rotating shifts.
