Head butcher wanted in McLean County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head butcher in McLean County, Illinois. You will be based in a meat processing plant. The role involves take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
