We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Teungo, Adamawa State. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Day-to-day duties: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod Full-time with occasional weekends. ₦700 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
