Great opportunity: maintenance painter (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a maintenance painter in Madison County, Illinois. You will work at a busy decorating firm. Your main tasks: • Spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns Requirements: • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish 6+ years on the tools preferred.
