Lifting rigger wanted in Morrow County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Morrow County, Oregon. You will be based on a high-rise building site. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles On a typical shift you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. 5+ years on the tools preferred. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
